The Challenge

1 Man, 1 Bike, 4000 Miles, 7 Days

I will leave from South Queensferry on 10th August 2008 to embark on a tour of mainland UK in aid of The Craighalbert Centre, The Scottish Centre for Children with Motor Impairments.  The plan is to travel, where possible on coast roads, visiting some of the most beautiful scenery Scotland, England and Wales have to offer.  John O'Groats to Lands End...The Scots Way Round.

I will be on a tight deadline to complete approximately 4000 miles in only 7 days, throughout the trip completely avoiding motorways.  I will have an onboard camera and a handheld digital video camera to record the adventures along the way. 

The Trip

Day 1:   South Queensferry to John O'Groats

Day 2:   John O'Groats to Loch Lomond

Day 3:   Loch Lomond to Southport

Day 4:   Southport to Lands End

Day 5:   Lands End to Ramsgate

Day 6:   Ramsgate to Scarborough

Day 7:   Scarborough to South Queensferry
